About her relationship with Bastón, Longoria told Allende that her priorities were different with him after she was divorced twice.

“I think that’s why with my second marriage — no wait, my third — I found love at 40.” [my husband] when I was 40 – and he was 50 – it was like, ‘Can we just enjoy this life together?’” she said of jealousy and her changing priorities.

In 2012, a year after her divorce from Parker was finalized, Longoria opened up about the impact his infidelity had on her — and how she initially questioned herself when she discovered Parker had exchanged hundreds of text messages with someone else.

“It wasn’t about who he chose. I mean, I had moments of, ‘Am I not sexy enough? Am I not beautiful enough? Am I not smart enough?’” Longoria said on Lifetime’s The conversation with Amanda de Cadenet.

“But with so many of those questions, I immediately stopped and said, ‘No, don’t start with that.’ Because you can get stuck in that circle.”

At the time, it was reported that the wife of one of Parker’s teammates was the other woman, but she and Parker denied having an affair.

Longoria said it took her a while to realize that Parker’s affair was “definitely not about me.”

“Society usually thinks there is something wrong with the woman. “Oh, he cheated on her, so she shouldn’t have gratified him sexually. She must have been a ball and chain!’” she said.

“Why did he have to have a reason to cheat that had to do with me? … I am so sure of who I am. I’m real! And I’m not conceited. I just think, ‘Wow, okay, that’s the life you want to live.’”
