Piers — who last week had a string of hard-hitting, exclusive interviews and reports from Ukraine on his TalkTV show Piers Morgan Uncensored — welcomed the ban.

“It wasn’t on my immediate vacation to-do list,” he tweeted to his 8 million Twitter followers.

Jerome has been working on frontline reporting on the horrors of Putin’s brutal war in Ukraine since the conflict began in February.

He said: “It is an honor to be in the company of so many outstanding journalists.

“This smacks of a hollow attempt to lash out at the people who document Russian war crimes and testify to atrocities in Ukraine.”

Russia is becoming increasingly isolated on the world stage, while Britain has taken the lead in backing Ukraine.

Hundreds of Britons are now banned from entering Putin’s crumbling country, with Piers and Jerome among the list of 37 others released this afternoon.

It included politicians, journalists and other supporters of Ukraine.

Labor leader Kier Starmer, former Tory Prime Minister David Cameron and ITV presenter Robert Peston have all now been added to the blacklist.

Veteran BBC presenter Huw Edwards, Scottish National Party leader Ian Blackford and Labor MPs Lisa Nandy and David Lammy were also mentioned by the Russians.

Putin’s regime raged that the British have all been banned because of “London’s destructive desire”.

Moscow had already blacklisted prominent figures such as Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and former Prime Minister Theresa May.

The list of names from Russia’s so-called “stop list” is all on Putin’s Foreign Ministry website — in what could be seen as a badge of honor for the British.

Britain provided significant support to Ukraine during the war by sending weapons, providing aid and taking in refugees.

More than 100,000 Ukrainians are now based in the UK, while Britons have opened their hearts to them.

And key weapons such as artillery guns and drones have been supplied to the Ukrainian armed forces to help them mount a valiant defense against Putin.

The war in Russia has now been going on for more than six months, despite the fact that the mad tyrant Vlad and his generals are convinced they will take Kiev in just hours.

Putin has instead waged a disastrous campaign that saw his forces stall and push back – losing tens of thousands of troops and millions of pounds in vehicles and weapons.

Moscow has instead resorted to brutal attacks on civilians and has been widely accused of committing war crimes – with reports last week of a Ukrainian soldier being castrated by the Russians.

There are fears that Putin could go even further if not stopped in Ukraine — with the madman looking to rebuild a new version of the Soviet Union.

And rumors continue to swirl around the tyrant’s health, with strange images emerging this weekend of him apparently unable to use his right hand.
