crazy ball – Almost none of the Juventus midfielders have been confirmed by manager Massimiliano Allegri for next season, with Manuel Locatelli the only player guaranteed safety in Turin, as reported via Calciomercato.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins Bianconeri in the transfer window last summer from Sassuolo on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy, estimated to be worth around IDR 606 billion.
He became an instant key player under Massimiliano Allegri last season, making 43 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, contributing three goals and five assists.
Now Calciomercato report that Manuel Locatelli is the only midfielder guaranteed a place for next season, with midfield indeed an area the 54-year-old manager is desperate to revamp.
Paul Pogba could also be guaranteed, but he will be out for months with a knee injury. Arthur Melo is currently closing in on a move to Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia, while Aaron Ramsey has been terminated.
Adrien Rabiot, meanwhile, is still wanted with some talk that he could be included in a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Leandro Paredes.
Weston McKennie, who was recently named the best American player in Europe by Massimiliano Allegri, and Denis Zakaria, who only arrived from Gladbach in January 2022, could also be sold if there really was a decent offer.
Meanwhile, several names of players linked with interest from Juventus to be brought to Turin in this summer transfer window, besides Leandro Paredes (PSG), Jordan Veretout (Roma), Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio), Renato Sanches (LOSC Lille) . ), to Jorginho (Chelsea).
