Hilaria Baldwin has written a moving and weighty tribute to her husband, Alec Baldwinwhere she opened up about the shocking “dark part” of their partnership.
Post on InstagramHilaria, 38, shared a sweet photo of her and Alec, 64, which prefaced her post with insight into how their relationship was a “joy” filled with “beautiful moments”.
But she soon plunged into something deeper.
“The darkest thing is to see behind the curtain how any part of this ‘business’ can function and the blows and sacrifices someone in the public eye takes to stand up for what they believe and help others,” she wrote.

Hilaria went on to talk about how Alec’s public “enemies” always target his mistakes.
“Enemies of these missions are trying to destroy you, to delegitimize your voice and purpose. This isn’t a new tactic… it’s as old as history… but how easy it is now more than ever to defame people and put together the bits taken out of context, ‘opinions’ or complete fabrications,’ she wrote.
The yoga instructor and author also revealed how she sees her husband in his own “dark moments” and how they try to get through them as a team.
“Alec, how often do we look at each other and say, take a deep breath, together in this, keep going for the good of what we believe. Somos un buen equipo [We are a good team].”

She continued: “I’m the one you see in your dark moments… the human moments – away from movie stardom and the public figure people so quickly elevate or carry out.”
The message comes as Alec continues to process the tragedy that struck last year when he… accidentally fired a prop gun at cameraman Halyna Hutchins, killing her.
Hilaria has publicly supported her husband during this time, especially as he tries to deal with his emotions.
Last Christmas, Alec shared a personal update with fans on Instagram.
Touch on the Rust tragedy, the actor said: “Of course I look forward to putting some aspects of this behind me. For everyone involved, it will never be behind us because someone passed away so tragically.”
“I never lose sight of that, not a day goes by, I don’t think about that,” he wrote, adding that spending time with his family “was the only thing that [he cares] about” at the moment.
Alec and Hilaria married in 2012 and now share seven children. They announced that they were are expecting their youngest child in March this year.
