Crazy ball Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham has urged his former club to sell Cristiano Ronaldo in this summer’s transfer window so they can take advantage of his salary loss to sign other players.
There are several versions, but as reported by Evening Standard that Portugal’s salary reaches international players at Old Trafford IDR 310 billion a year, and now The Red Devils can save that big expense for next season.
This is because, as reported by Sky Sports, that Cristiano Ronaldo was looking for a way out of Manchester United in the summer transfer window because he wanted to play in the Champions League, led to him being strongly linked with a move to Chelsea after Barcelona, PSG and Bayern Munich refused to accept him.
The Red Devils, meanwhile had a busy incoming business signing Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez and now club legend Teddy Sheringham is proposing that his former team can sell their 37-year-old to bring in more players as there is plenty of leeway on the bill their salary with the departure of the former Real Madrid and Juventus.
He told Daily mail, “If I were Ronaldo, I said I would leave United now and then, I would be very excited about what they can do in the transfer market? People say Ten Hag will build his team around Ronaldo, but if he wants to leave, he has to go. It opens a new gap for United. ”
“You can get two or three players with the salary you give Ronaldo and it is a lot of money they can spend every month. Life goes on, he wants to play somewhere else, so let it go, because you only want to play with players who want to play for you all season. ”
