Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has, on Sunday, provided an update on the future of star winger Jack Harrison.
The name of attacker Harrison, of course, has taken its place front and center in the headlines in west Yorkshire this summer.
This comes amid suggestions that, despite the departure of fellow wide-man Raphinha, the 25-year-old could be on the move, amid interest from newly-minted Newcastle United.
Harrison is fresh off another solid campaign last time out, which saw him rack up eight goals from his berth on the left wing, across 35 Premier League appearances.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the former Manchester City man’s future was put to none other than manager Jesse Marsch.
Leeds’ boss, however, was quick to shut down the speculation surrounding Harrison’s name, assuring that the Peacocks’ are counting on him ‘for the season ahead.
“There’s always been interest in Jack, like many of our players,” Marsch explained to the media on the back of his side’s pre-season defeat to Aston Villa. “But I know that Jack is also very happy here – and that he’s done a really good job, that he’s a big part of what we’re doing.
Of course, there’s always possibilities that big transfer offers come in, and clubs then have to decide how it fits and what are the best options moving forward, but, for me, Jack Harrison’s a big part of our plans moving forward – and we ‘re counting on him this season, for sure. ”

Interestingly, such comments on Marsch’s part come after Harrison himself simply responded with “we’ll see, we’ll see what happens,” when pressed on his Leeds future on Sunday morning.
