He has been linked with a move to a number of top European clubs, but Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have all closed the door on the 37-year-old’s potential arrival.
Cristiano Ronaldo may have been Manchester United’s top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions last season, but Harry Redknapp now claims that manager Erik ten Hag might feel more comfortable if the Portugal player leaves his team, despite his recent admission that his team has been left out of the team, want to defend their megaster.
The former Spurs boss tells mirrors, “Perhaps he (Ten Hag) feels more comfortable without him, because it is not as if Ronaldo comes from a great background. Coming from Ajax in Holland, did not really make it to the highest level. Now suddenly he will work with one of the best players ever. ”
