NBCNEWS – Dody Sudrajat, the father of the late Vanessa Angel, remains in his position to apply for guardianship over the custody of his grandson, Gala Sky Andriansyah, who was orphaned at the age of one year. Dody will apply to the guardianship to the Central Jakarta District Court after the 40th anniversary of the death of Vanessa and Bibi.
Dody said he exercised guardianship rights for the sake of Gala Sky Andriansyah. Dody Sudrajat claims he wants to give the best for his grandson.
“I will give my best I will fight for the Gala that’s the reason I finally applied for guardianship rights for the Gala later in Central Jakarta sometime later, maybe after 40 days, that’s the most appropriate thing to take care of everything. After that I can move on again, I can focus,” said Doddy Sudrajat in the Rawamangun area, East Jakarta, recently.
In fact, Faisal, from the family of the late Aunt Andriansyah, had previously applied for child custody to the West Jakarta District Court. The trial regarding Faisal’s request will be held on November 30, 2021.
Meanwhile, Dody Sudrajat hopes that the judge will give a fair decision so that one party can accept the judge’s decision which already has a legal determination.
“So hopefully on November 30, the judges and those in Central Jakarta, I believe the judges will be professional and will be fair in deciding this case,” said Dody Sudrajat.
“We will both see what the court’s decision will look like if the decision falls to Mr. Faisal, I support him. After all, he is his grandfather. I support me because the court has determined, if (the child custody decision) is on me, I ask Mr. Faisal to let go, right my grandson’s flesh and blood,” explained Dody Sudrajat.
Doddy explained, the judge’s decision will determine how in the future to avoid the term seizure of grandchildren. Karen had to decide custody of the court because it could not be divided in two.
“That’s my request so that in the future there will be no more fighting over grandchildren. Because I just found out because Gala’s custody cannot be shared. I asked whether guardianship rights can be shared? It can’t be decided by one of Vanessa’s parties or Aunt’s side, so it’s like that must be decided in court and this is not a fight,” concluded Dody Sudrajat.
