Antonio Conte reportedly asked Tottenham Hotspur to release Tanguy Ndombele during the next transfer window.
Tanguy Ndombele was signed by a football club from North London in 2019 from Lyon. To buy it, the top teams in the Premier League had to spend more than 1 trillion dollars. The result made the player one of Spurs’ most expensive purchases.
The 24-year-old footballer is expected to make an impact in Tottenham Hotspur’s midfield. Unfortunately, he failed to impress. Even from Jose Mourinho to Nuno Espirito Santo, the player was ignored from the first team.
Even so, the player when Antonio Conte was still in charge of Inter Milan was rumored to be brought in. But reported by Football Insider, the former Chelsea coach would be more than happy to see Tanguy Ndombele leave North London midway through the 2021/22 competition. That means he wants the player to leave at the beginning of next year.
On the other hand, Conte recently mentioned that if he wants his players to work harder in training. Thus, Tottenham Hotspur are open to selling him at an affordable price or loaning Tanguy Ndombele with an option to buy after his loan ends.
With the Premier League’s top team, Tanguy Ndombele has played in 86 matches scoring 10 goals and 8 assists in all competitions.
Meanwhile, when Antonio Conte arrived, the player had only played 5 minutes in the 2021/22 Premier League against Everton and against Leeds United was reserved. While in the European Conference League played 18 minutes.
