Despite having limitations as a deaf person and having to use a hearing aid, he managed to get a Gojek Scholarship and became a student at the Jakarta State Polytechnic majoring in Journalism.

“I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity provided by Gojek. It has been my dream for a long time to be able to study, especially in the field of journalism, and I did not expect to be given a free opportunity like this,” said Jassinta.

“I am determined to make the best use of the scholarship I got so that later I can help the family’s economy,” he added.

Jassinta is the baby of Suparti, a Gojek driver partner in Jakarta since 2017.

“I am very grateful and did not expect the sustenance given. I never imagined before that only by becoming a motorcycle taxi driver, my child can go to school to study at a high level,” said Suparti.
