Garcia linked with Manchester United job
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the then Manchester United manager left the club on Sunday morning, it was announced.
His departure was necessary following a dismal showing during a 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.
Manchester United can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as Manager.
Thank you for everything, Ole ❤️#MUFC

While it feels as though it has come months too late, it is ultimately the only decision that was left open to the Manchester United hierarchy after a terrible run of form that has seen them slip from 3rd to 8th place in the top flight, and now sit 12 points off league leaders Chelsea.
Although Michael Carrick won his first game as caretaker boss, he is not expected to be in charge long. With Poch now allegedly off the table, Manchester United are back to plan A, appointing an interim man until the end of the season.
And, as per French outlet L’Equipe, that man could well be Rudi Garcia.

Garcia speaks out on the rumours
And now, speaking to French media ahead of Manchester City vs Paris Saint Germain, Rudi Garcia spoke out on the links with Manchester United.
Unfortunately for Manchester United, he was not willing to confirm the rumours either way, further fuelling speculation.
Garcia said:
“I am not used to commenting on rumours in my career. I will say nothing on the subject. I neither confirm nor deny.”
