The January transfer window is approaching and Juventus intend to bring in two new players for manager Massimiliano Allegri, namely a midfielder and a new striker.
The list of wanted midfielders is constantly being updated, with them initially making Aurelien Tchouameni their main target. But lately Monaco has set a price tag of almost IDR 1 trillion due to the large number of fans for the France international, including Chelsea and Real Madrid.
In recent weeks, reports from Tuttosport mentions that Juventus are also now eyeing Denis Zakaria. The 24-year-old Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder is not renewing his contract which expires in June 2022 and has made himself an important opportunity to sign in January.
The Turin giants will be competing with Serie A rivals AS Roma who are also interested in him as Jose Mourinho is determined to strengthen his side’s midfield options, having relied too much on Jordan Veretout and Bryan Cristante and dislikes other options.
Reports suggest that among the Swiss national team, Massimiliano Allegri’s squad are favorites to get Denis Zakaria’s signature, although he is also said to be interested in a move to the Premier League.
According to further reports from Germany, the 24-year-old midfielder is not the only Borussia Monchengladbach player Juventus are eyeing. Also on their transfer list is Kouadio Kone, a young France Under-20 midfielder.
Meanwhile the attacking post, the only target Juventus really hoped for was Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbia international is not willing to extend his contract at the Artemio Franchi which expires in the summer of 2023 and the club are willing to sell him for IDR 1.3 trillion in January.
