PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) will tighten security around the Manahan Stadium ahead of the Persib Bandung versus Persija Jakarta match.
The duel of Persib Bandung against Persija Jakarta is presented in the third series of Liga 1 2021.
Taking a peek at past Persib and Persija meetings, PT LIB has prepared tight security.
PT LIB has prepared special security so that no spectators enter the stadium during the match.
The match between Persib and Persija will take place at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (11/20/2021).
The President Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita, did not deny that until now all matches had gone smoothly without any desperate spectators.
However, the rivalry between Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta has been highlighted by Hadian Lukita.
Akhmad Hadian Lukita said stadium security would be ensured two days before the match took place.
PT LIB will also continue to communicate with the police so that unwanted things do not happen.
“So we and the police have anticipated all these things. We have made a protocol,” said Akhmad Hadian Lukita to the media crew.
“So our discussions with the police are intense on matches with high tension,” he said.
PT LIB has learned lessons from previous matches regarding the efforts of spectators to the stadium.
For example, the match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya which also took place at Mahana Stadium, Solo, Central Java, Saturday (6/11/2021).
In that match, there was a group of supporters who tried to come to the stadium.
Fortunately they were prevented by the police at the city’s border so that they could not enter and were immediately dispersed.
“Yesterday, if not anticipated, the audience might have entered.”
“So, at the end of the toll roads before entering Solo, they have been sent home,” said Akhmad Hadian Lukita.
Furthermore, the man from West Java also asked fans not to be desperate to attend the stadium.
Considering the Covid-19 condition is still high and fans are not allowed to come to the stadium.
Supporters are asked to be patient because PT LIB is seeking the presence of supporters at the stadium in the near future.
“Enjoy watching from home first, because the conditions are not good right now, it’s still risky, especially before Christmas and New Year’s, we really have to be careful,” said Hadian.
“The previous incidents were because there was a long holiday. We also have to be careful about this,” he concluded.
