After Rachel Vennya was officially named a suspect, the police apparently also sent the case file for escaping from her quarantine to the Prosecutor’s Office. Now, the case has entered stage one.
“Yes, stage one has been sent,” said the Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirkrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol. Tubagus Ade Hidayat at the Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, Monday (15/11).
Because the sentence for the case she violated was only one year, Rachel Vennya did not undergo detention or undergo mandatory reporting.
“You don’t even have to report it,” he said simply.
In addition, Rachel Vennya during the examination was also considered cooperative so that she did not undergo a mandatory report during the legal process.
“Actually, there is no provision for mandatory reporting, only to ensure that the detention has subjective reasons. So, subjectively, so far, cooperatively, there is no problem. We called him (Rachel Vennya) to come,” he concluded.
